We are rolling into chaos all over our country.
President Biden was finally ousted as the nominee for President by the Democrat elites; now Vice President Harris is running. As the border czar, Harris is directly responsible for the crisis at our southern border. Leading to thousands of dead Americans, drug problems, increased taxes, and more that directly impact Idaho.
Just last week, a Nampa flower shop was busted for being a front for illegal firearms and drugs and run by those who entered here illegally.
Vice President Harris spoke yesterday, saying, “We will finally pass red flag laws, universal background checks, and an assault weapons ban.”
Idaho has strong laws to protect the 2A. However, we must do more to strengthen our laws to fight against these radical ideas.
There was an assassination attempt on President Trump; he was wounded. Days later, he spoke to the nation at the Republican National Convention, accepting the nomination for the Republican presidential nominee. He spoke of unity and coming together to save America.
We need to SAVE Idaho as well. In just a couple of years, Idaho’s state budget has increased by over 50%, increasing its dependence on “Federal money,” which is tax dollars paid by you. Is this what a conservative, balanced budget should look like?
I don’t think so. A conservative budget would increase proportionately to the increase in population, not several times the percent increase in the population.
Everything is on the line THIS NOVEMBER!
Our Founding Fathers said, “We mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor” in the Declaration of Independence, dated July 4, 1776.
They upheld this pledge, one of the main reasons we became a country. We fought against a King over taxation without representation.
The fight is not over, as we can see from what is happening today. Freedom is lost if not fought for. I pledge to you as our founding fathers did on July 4, 1776. If elected this November, my votes will show you this, as my record already reflects this.
As I prepare for the November election and look forward to being elected to serve you in the legislative session beginning in January, I want to hear from you about your top issues for our state. I want to listen to what is closest to your heart and provide action at the Statehouse for you.
Please take the attached survey and pick the top 5 issues you are most concerned with. Based on this information, I will investigate each topic and provide an action plan. Be on the lookout for future newsletters, as I will address each one.
I will stand firm for you and your values, I am an Idaho member of the State Freedom Caucus Network, whose mission statement is as follows:
THE STATES ARE INCREASINGLY THE PRIMARY BATTLEGROUND.
We need patriots who will serve in our state capitals to fight federal overreach and stand firm against those — in both parties — who prioritize seizing political power over representing constituents.
I am also a supporter of the Idaho First Agenda (Launching soon). Working with other legislators who are not afraid to cast their vote for the best interest of Idahoans.
I will fight for what is important to you.
God Bless,
Christy Zito (Republican Nominee, District 8 Senate) God Bless each of you, and may He hold you in His hands.
The current property tax system is a recipe for future disaster. It must be abolished and replaced with a consumption based revenue system. A county by county sales tax seems the most obvious replacement and will hold local officials accountable to the taxpayers.
I’d like to see less government. If that means less state and federal employees so be it.
