We humbly request that legislators reconsider “Facebook only” communications. Substack is an excellent alternative or supplement to Facebook and so far does not have a reputation for censorship.
Substack reader and writer accounts are free, little personal information is requested (e.g., just email for free subscribers), writers can interact with readers in a variety of ways (text articles, shorter notes, videos, chats, podcasts), helpful usage statistics are provided, and several paid subscription options are available for additional fundraising. Plus, all items can be shared on social media with just a click for Substack, Facebook, LinkedIn, Bluesky, X, email and more.
Totally agree. We've never been on Facebook and don't plan to go on it now. Facebook-only communications from businesses and government officials cry "behind the times."

Or, if not behind the times, just "we didn't know!" It's amazing how many in government don't know this.
