The LD8 flip was astounding and wonderful! Never before has a freshman class outshone the seniors so well!

Thank you G8. Thank you for freedom. Thank you for fiscal responsibility.

Looking forward to watching you do even more amazing things next year.

Good job! What will it take to get more reps and Senators on board to expand the gang of 8? There needs to be a litmus test for those who call themselves conservatives and or Republicans. Too many never meet a spending bill they don’t like.

Many Republican legislators likely benefit from the spending bills in some way.

Much of the appropriated money goes to programs that lack transparency and accountability. Some were even voted by the legislature and not funded; then, they had to be funded to follow the law. It’s incredibly complicated stuff.

The new budget process for JFAC, with maintenance budgets approved first followed by add-ons is a good start. But the problem is that every add-on appropriation rolls into the next year’s maintenance budget, so we still get bloated budgets.

We spend a fortune on schools, but how much of that money actually improves student learning? Not enough given test results and student outcomes. Throwing more money at a problem that isn’t getting fixed does NOT fix the problem.

We take too much federal money. What happens when that money dries up on a federally-dependent state population?

We need forensic accountants to follow the money from its source (the taxpayer) to its intended recipients. How much is leaking along the way? Where is it going? Which of these programs and their associated spending are the proper role of government in the first place? How many are gaming and defrauding the system?

Just thinking that calling yourselves the gang of eight probably doesn't have universally positive response. https://www.americaexplained.org/what-is-the-gang-of-eight.htm

Thank You.

If I was a young man I would step up to the plate I have been contacting the Latah GOP about making thier site more interactive or informative. The Latah DEMS have an excellent site with everything you could possibly need. Not one of them got back to me except Colton Bennet. Every election we have here the Dems always make sure they only have one person running. When Colton ran and the last minute some unknown RINO ran with him and the vote got split. Colton would have won had it not been for that. Moscow is the full blown DEI LGBTQYZMX LIBERAL. And surrounded by fully conserative rural folks. Our GOP could make a huge difference but the just sit there and twittle their thumbs. Very sad.
